Today I want to share 3 things that make a massive difference when it comes to your energy and building a business on part time hours.
You want to focus on your energy because it is much faster to get the result you want when you change, rather than waiting for something else or someone else to change.
You don’t need a ton of hours to make sales. These tweeks are small, but they will help you keep your energy up outside of your full time job.
The things you should do are:
Your job only is supposed to give you a check, it isn’t supposed to make you happy. Realize the role of your job and find other things in your life to make you happy.
Refer back to your job description and only do what is listed. Don’t feel pressure to take on extra roles and responsibilities that take more from you than what you owe.
Approval is not your goal at your job. You should CYA, or “cover your ass” and make sure you do the things that your boss is focused on. Don’t worry about being liked or go for any gold stars.
I hope these things help you think about your job differently and treat it differently. When you allow your job to just be a job, you can preserve your extra time and energy to make the progress and sales you want in your coaching business.
