This episode is coming out on Election Day in the US and we have no idea which candidate will be our next President. I wanted to create this episode to liberate you from that and share how you can find success no matter what.

Entrepreneurship is your greatest form of advocacy. If you are an entrepreneur that is the most impactful thing you can do for yourself, your family, and your community. 

I want to help Women of Color create their own money, the ultimate form of power and freedom. 

So what is really keeping us stuck? The tenets of white supremacy, as outlined by Tema Okun, explain the systems and ideas that white people created. They are:

• Perfectionism
• Sense of Urgency
• Defensiveness
• Quantity of Quality
• Worship of the Written Word
• Only One Right Way
• Paternalism
• Either/Or Thinking
• Power Hoarding
• Fear of Open Conflict
• Individualism
• I’m the Only One
• Progress is Bigger, More
• Objectivity
• Right to Comfort

Where have you seen white supremacy play out in your life? People of Color have done an excellent job of following these systems, even if it means destroying ourselves.

It is time to find emancipation through entrepreneurship because no matter what the system is, it isn’t designed to help you succeed. Even if you do succeed, the next level will always be harder to reach.

Creating your own business allows you to have full control over how much money you can make and you don’t have to answer to the systems of white supremacy.

There are so many things that open up when you leave the systems behind and trust in yourself.
