Today I am talking about the difference between selling and marketing.
In 1-on-1 coaching, marketing is getting sales calls booked on your calendar. Selling is what happens on the sales call and closing them to them to a “yes.”
For group programs, marketing is generating interest for your offer. Selling is what happens when the doors open.
The skillset and mindset of marketing is different from the skillset and mindset of selling.
You need to identify the right issues in order to fix them. If you focus on one, you’ll naturally improve the other.
