I’m continuing the series on how to achieve 2k months, 5k months, and 10k months by talking more about 10k months today.
I thought when I hit 10k months I’d be validated as a coach, be able to pay off my debt, save up to quit my job, and begin living my dream life. I thought hitting this milestone would magically change my thinking and behavior and my money mindset. But this was not true.
When I hit 10k months, I realized that I had the same brain as when I hit 5k months. I was confused about why I still felt like I wasn’t good enough or had enough money.
The thing is, it’s your thoughts about the money, not the money itself. I still had to manage my mindset, and continue to heal my inner trauma.
So what was the hype around 10k months? Why is this such a big deal in the coaching industry?
Do I want to define my success as an online coach by an income number? Or do I want to define my own rules around being a successful coach?
What if my own rules were that I want to define being successful by the level of impact that I have on my community, the level of commitment I have to my business in general, and the shifts of my own identity that I make?
That is how I want to define my business. And that is how I define it now, even as I’ve had 30k, 40k, 50k, and 60k months.
So, I hate to burst your bubble, but I’m here to tell you that 10k months won’t change your life. It is an incredible milestone to hit, and it represents all of the failure you’ve overcome. Which is what you’ll bring into the new phase of your business where you’ll have to think about scaling in a different way.
But it won’t change the thoughts in your brain or your human behavior. The work still has to be done in your life and your business.
But how do you actually get there? You need to get clear on what you did to get to 2k months and 5k months.
Your brain loves to think of a new goal and think it is completely different from past goals. But the jump from 5k to 10k is just more clients and maybe a slight increase in price.
So to increase the number of clients, you have to know how you got your first ones.
Think about all the things that you believed about yourself to create 2k months and 5k months. How can you take those thoughts deeper and bring them to more clients?
So much about earning more money is about going back to what worked so well to get you to the next level.
But don’t get overwhelmed, getting to 2k months and 5k months is the hardest because you’ll question yourself every step of the way.
So you’ve already done the hardest part! The rest is a new journey on the foundation that you’ve already built.
As you’re working with your current clients, you’re nurturing your audience so your next few clients are already watching and already aware of you. You’ll be shocked at how many people decide to buy from just watching your journey.
So what do these people need to hear? Sharing your current client results can help a lot. And focus on telling people things in different ways.
Don’t do more, just keep doing what you’re doing.
I understand that this can seem frustrating. But what if it could be this simple?
What if everything is a life problem, not a business problem? And what if all of those problems could be solved outside of your business?
That is what I want you to explore. It’s not the money or your business. It’s your life.
Keeping business simple, staying consistent, and focusing on your life problems will help you make more money than you’ve ever thought possible.
To explore this further, I am inviting you to join the waitlist for the Five Figure Formula. It is a holistic program, a sales and money mindset program that will not only change your bank account, but also your life!
